Duck Pond
A Game!
With the gradual improvements being made to the new territory that Abaven had taken over, a small break felt appropriate. When the carnival was announced, it only seemed right to head south to take part. He'd escorted Raure down as well, though the boy hadn't stuck around for long. No surprise, there was so much to see and do around here. He'd debated signing up for the tourneys, but for whatever reason he hadn't pulled the trigger. Clad in his well worn armour, the burly young male wandered his way through the booths of the carnival. There were so many sights and smells he could hardly take it all in at once. Who knew there was such a potential for fun and festivities, after the horrors of the long night? Perhaps this was exactly what they all needed this summer. The crowd that had gathered around this game wasn't especially large, and so when he meandered over he found himself quickly drawn into watching the participants try their luck at catching one of the little wooden ducks floating in the pond. The long-eared coydog that was managing the flow of players beckoned him to take his turn with a jovial demeanour that pulled a smile from him almost immediately. He took his place at the edge of the little pond and watched the wooden ducks float past. The pale yearling didn't waste much time grabbing a hold of the next little toy that bobbed into range, and when he carried it over to the coydog he did so with a small smile pulling at the edge of his maw. Placing it gently at the feet of the carnie, there was a hint of childlike glee plucking a merry tune at his heartstrings. Yeah, he'd definitely needed this. "speech" |
The hound-like coydog dances in excitement at your win, his long tongue lolling out. ”Let’s see what you won!” he yelps, flipping over the duck.
He hands you a cool looking mask.
