Ring Toss

He wasn't happy to be here. The raven from his younger sister had reached him and their path led straight through this place. Merrick would have gone around, but Keelin was hungry. The giant brute had growled his displeasure at the small woman, but had acquiesced. He couldn't have her passing out from starvation, now could he? If she whined again though, she'd pay for it later.

While waiting for the brindled woman to finish stuffing her face, Merrick stood, glaring out at the crowd. He truly didn't like this place. All of these bastards should have been out working or doing something productive. One wolf in the undulating crowd was pushed by another and Merrick was slammed into. He stumbled backwards a step, but that was enough to bump hard into one of the booths. The rings settled on the table went flying towards the pegs on the other side while the hulking purple and black beast snarled his displeasure.
