The truth was that he'd only leave if his sister wanted to, but he didn't need to get into the finer details of things, not with this woman he'd just met.

He padded along after her, beaming when she told him they'd found some trillium after all. He was glad, though he was beginning to feel the nagging feeling he ought to be heading back home soon. He just hoped he might find her again, and that he might find the bravery to ask to see her garden next time. "I-I should probably head back home. B-but... thank you, for spending time with me," Spirit smiled sheepishly before bidding his farewell and heading back to Abaven's lands.
