Sentinels and Kings and... Koi? [Tenshi!]

It had been a while since he’d come to the Field, and the Sentinel knew he could use to stretch his legs and get a spar in.before returning home after the Carnival. As it was, he wasn’t alone, and Ardyn was just as keen to find a sparring partner, or two if they found more than one and could make it a melee.

Perhaps they’d find an opponent that wished to go two versus one. Cairo pondered as he followed his young king across the battlefield, glad the evening light was kinder on Crystal’s eyes as the pale barn owl glided silently above the two wolves, ignoring Lyr’s playful antics as Ardyn’s raven made loops and tumbles in the air, glowing plumage leaving red and blue-white streaks in the air.

He spotted a good space and woofed softly, drawing the taller wolf’s eyes and nodding to it. It appealed to both males and they staked it out, settling easily into familiar stances as Cairo tipping his muzzle to the sky, calling for an opponent, Ardyn’s voice following shortly to harmonize.
