Kuroo

He'd been on his way north to spend a few days fishing up at the Rio Grande. While they had plenty of fish down in Auster by the bay, he'd had an itch for some freshwater river fish. Something about how their meat tasted made his mouth water. With a long and de-barked branch strapped across his back to make it easier to carry them home, Kuroo wound his way through the grove. A lovely scent of berries and flowers distracted his thoughts from so many things that he almost missed the familiar scent. Following the well-worn game trail that made its way directly through the trees, his paws skidded to a halt in the dirt.
As a swirl of dust rose from the ground, his pale eyes turned to look through the shadows. It had been a minute since he had met Raylan in that mangrove forest. At times, his mind did linger on the midnight hunk of a boy. The way his piercing red eyes looked at him or how his muscles showed nicely under his pelt. Kuroo would never admit aloud that he'd dreamt of the wolf a time or two. Though as he stood here now, he wondered why Raylan had come all the way south. He didn't think the wolf would venture this far, but maybe there was a reason. Maybe it was destiny. Blinking a few times, he finally picked out the shadowy figure not far off.
A smile carefully crawled its way across his lips as he made his way over to the wolf. Casting long shadows from the side as the sun began to set in the distance, Kuroo tried to sneak up on the wolf. Having ditched his stick in the bushes before moving forward, it would be easier to prowl through the underbrush undetected. Once he got close enough, Kuroo pounced forward and reached out to nudge Raylan's side. Letting out a small chuckle, he moved up to stand side by side with the taller wolf. "Fancy meeting you here, huh?" He nearly cooed as his pink gaze turned upward to look at Raylan's face.
kuroo's tamarin, saru, should be assumed near/on him at all times.
