Beware the sunflowers

He gnawed on a flower as he walked along the edges of the gully, glancing down at where it dipped down lower and grew lush with tall green grasses. Some type of deer was nibbling nearby, but his gaze passed over it without a second thought. Hage wasn't here to hunt, and with the sweetness of the flower still fresh on his tongue, he didn't feel too terribly hunger to bother finding something more his size to catch. A gust of wind blew past him then, pushing the fur on his face back, and bringing with it the scent of two strange wolves. Tail lashing out behind him, brow furrowed in thought, Hage eventually changed course towards them. Perhaps they could tell him something about this place that he would find useful. It didn't take long for his silvery eyes to fall upon a large male covered in hues of red, brown and black, and although his nose told him there was a woman nearby, he couldn't quite see where she was. But he could hear her. His ears perked forward, eyes narrowing to look at where the dark hued woman lay, only visible to him due to the white patches on her coat. Not saying anything, Hage slowly made his way closer to the two, though they didn't seem close enough to be having a proper conversation yet. He wanted to hear what the other male had to say first before doing anything further. |
