Caelia wasn't sure why she and her brother had been paired up with kids - like, actual children - but she knew better than to underestimate them. She knew a thing or two about getting bested by wolves younger than her. What they likely lacked in experience and training they made up for in naivety and unpredictability. Studying them quietly, she reacted swiftly when one of the boys charged her. Her posture stiffened, muscles readying for the weight of a strike. Instead of pummeling right into her though Ichor took a different approach, jaws parting and snatching up her right paw, sinking his teeth into her toes. The pain was swift but not debilitating, though distracting enough with her weight shifting to her other four legs. As he leaned down she too parted her jaws and aimed to strike, hoping to sink her teeth into the scruff at the back of his neck and pull - hoping she could maybe get him to refocus from her paw and give her full mobility before she made her next move.
