Briar looked up through the oak leaves above her for a few moments from her perch on the large tree root, smiling gently as she enjoyed the warmth from the sun. She herd Artorias' paws moving through the grass and fallen leaves and she turned her turquoise gaze back down in time to see him continue exploring, ducking into one of the split trees for a moment. She chuckled softly and continued on along her balancing act, following one tree root to the next and climbing carefully onto a taller part of the roots right at the base of a huge tree that held her aloft on a perch. It wasn't super high, but considering this wasn't anywhere close to the actual tree limbs themselves it still felt pretty elevated for just being some raised up roots.
Art eventually returned to her and her turquoise gaze found his amber eyes with a smile. His question made her chuckle and she hopped down to him with a graceful leap, her long tail sliding over the thick root as she walked away from it. Even braided her tail was still noticeably longer than normal and was heavier as well so it didn't tend to sit as high as it would have otherwise. "As hot and bothered as ever," she replied quietly with a smirk as she approached him, brushing her muzzle against his. He successfully kept her more than satisfied throughout her heat season, but even still this constant underlying need and desire still lingered constantly no matter what she did. After living with it for almost a whole season now she had gotten more used to the feeling than she had been when she first moved to The Hallows, but it was still very much noticeable.
The oak forest was quiet and isolated, the foliage creating a lovely and secluded spot. She grinned a little as she leaned in to brush her lips against his, giving him a light kiss. "Why do you ask?" she questioned with a slight purr to her voice, giving him a curious glance. "Do you feel like cooling off that heat a bit before we head back?" She knew there would be no real solution to this instinctual need and desire unless they actually satisfied the need her body wanted and had a family together, but they weren't quite ready for that just yet. They had enough on their plate with learning how to lead together without a litter of pups to navigate as well. Lia had been making sure she took her contraceptives every morning at her request so there was little risk in that happening and that had been effective through the entirety of her heat thus far so all she could really do was get some temporary relief.
