The Icky Boys! vs Team Adravendis
At just the last moment, his larger opponent pivoted on a dime and moved his entire hind leg out of reach in a flash. Snarling with frustration, he retracted the paw that was grasping furtively at empty air. In the moments that followed, there was the all too familiar graze of teeth through champagne fur as the man sought to scruff him- which was so uncool, honestly. Before the real force could be applied to his neck, the boy sought to flinch just out of reach. It was a move that pissed his mother off to no end, juking her out when she was trying to put him in time-out. While the thick fangs of his opponent clamped down on downy ruff fur and tore the hairs out from the roots in one big clump, he snapped his own skull to his right and craned his neck backwards to lunge for the softest portion of his shoulder, right above the bend of his elbow. If the back leg was out of reach, this leg certainly wasn't! Slender jaws parted and needle-like fangs aimed to sink into the thin skin that stretched up from the bony point of his elbow and up into the thick fur of the shoulder- beyond the protection of the bracers that covered Cairo's forelegs. There was the tiniest gap in the armour there, just enough for a pup's little jaws to slip into and strike! Of course, this didn't give him the time to dodge the hold that Cairo sought to wrangle him with. That same foreleg started to lift as he tried to sink his fangs into it, forcing him to try and chase after the retreating joint as it pinned his hips beneath its heavy weight. Just as he thought he was about to get a grip on that soft and vulnerable upper elbow, he felt a sharp jerk of a heavy paw against his left hip. Oop, uh oh- he wasn't focusing on balance. Already he could feel his right knee bending involuntarily, and his weight was beginning to teeter dangerously into the "flop over unceremoniously" zone. Here's hoping that he could get a good grip on Cairo and keep himself from completely eating shit in his first official fight against an adult!
