Desperate To Breathe

Duchess was still very aware of Noir's position around her, but the way she was reacting to his presence was really how she had felt every time they were together. It was just the part that was hidden deep under the surface in her core. She had only pursued him because she didn't care for her life inside of his grasp. She knew that she wanted to die, but she was also not so serious on the matter. She was hurting beyond repair and she couldn't even function enough to know where to traverse her emotions and her healing. Nothing that Noir could have ever known. Being with him had made her feel nothing but him even through the good and bad he gave her. She didn't miss Indigo, she didn't think of her lost children. The only thing that mattered when she was intertwined with Noir was believing she was desired.

She didn't move as he grabbed her and pulled her in. In fact she breathed in sharply from the way he went to hold her because she was struggling to keep it together. She ended up being fully receptive to his touch, Her paws carefully moving around his barrel while her face found comfort in the bulk of his chest. Her necked rolled slightly, opening up the parts of her that his lips went to take. She was not offering herself, but not fighting what he was giving her. She didn't pursue any marks on his own body aside from her paws gently rubbing and hugging at his sides in response.

She raised a paw to put it between them and push just slightly off his chest to get his attention and so she could look at him. Her eyes were welded with tears that she wouldn't even consider speaking about. She said nothing as she looked back into his eyes, not finding any words but also not knowing how to ask him to stop or to help her in some other way. Surely he could have seen in through the differences of their previous encounters, but he may have chosen to ignore it.
