reaching for cloud cloaked skies
tenshi!

Viðarr's pulse spiked as his gaze landed on the woman. Tenshi, she was called. He recognized her. Beautiful in the same way any deadly, dire creature was. Breathtaking and maybe a bit terrifying-- just the way he liked his women, truly. Ah, right, he probably shouldn't be thinking like that about a woman he barely knew. Hell, it was similar to the feeling that filled his chest when he thought about Kiela. Gods... Kiela. The shadow shook his head as if to clear it. No, no he couldn't let himself get distracted. Not now, when there was a spar to be had and a fight to be won.
Tenshi, as she was, is a worthy opponent. The shadow wouldn't condescend her by going easy by any means. He dipped his muzzle to match the greeting, but the coil of her muscles that follows is unmistakable. She charges upon him, each footstep falling with incredible force. Yes, there's power here, and Viðarr stood his ground. The closer she came, the better he knew his odds to be. Close quarters combat is something that he understands, that makes him feel good. He set his defenses carefully, standing his ground, allowing the woman to launch herself.
Teeth making contact somewhere between his fur and his armor, slipping into the tender flesh. Gods it felt good. He feels alive and brilliant in every possible way. As Tenshi grabs to his body, the shadow doesn't back off. No, instead he presses forward, a growl echoing from his chest. Pressing forward and up on the spot where she makes contact with his shoulders, an attempt to knock her off balance or scaffold up against her. In the same moments, Viðarr's front legs force forward, force out. The studs in his bracers were sharp, and potentially far more than that. If he could use them correctly, there was a chance he'd be able to use them to his advantage. All the shadow knows is that he needs to stay tucked in close if he wants to have any chance in a fight like this.
