This was only step one

Ricin is exploring the rocky landscape near the brothers den today, poking his head into small cervices to sniff out anything that could be hiding. The call from Manea catches the large, almost yearling, with nose between two rocks. Quickly pulling back, Ricin plops his butt on the ground to rub the dirt and debris off his muzzle. His brother is out doing… something so the lighter boy makes his way to meeting area, half expecting Chade to have already beaten him there. As he approaches the clearing, the pup only spies one other wolf, besides the alpha’s and heir, in the meeting area and his heart sinks. Ricin hates doing new things alone without his brother by his side. Still, pushing his comfort zone can be a good thing… right?

Moving forward, Ricin gives Manea and Alastor a respectful short bow before turning to flash Avacyn a wide grin and give her a small bow. With that, the light boy retreats backward, deciding to sit with the only other wolf how has appeared. The cloaked form looks uncomfortable being here and Ricin sidles up next to her and plops his butt down while offering the wolf a warm smile. The young wolf leans in slightly toward the other wolf to whisper, “This is my first meeting. Am I doing it right?” There is a nervous air about the boy, his ruby gaze darting around in search of Chade while he tries to comfortable next to the cloaked lady.
