Lady in White

The alpha took a bit to get there, but it wasn't something that Io would complain about. The little woman was surprisingly patient, and would wait until it was obvious that no one had heard her call. Thankfully for her though, it wasn't something that she would have to worry about, because although the alpha seemed to be a bit wrapped up a the moment, there was someone else there willing to greet her. Twin triangles twitched above her head as she heard the quiet pawsteps of another lupine, and soon said wolf was within her line of sight. The woman had a beautiful red coat, one that Io was transfixed by for more than a moment.
Her words easily broke through her little trance, and the albino shook her head no when asked whether she minded the other's company. Something seemed to be bothering the woman, and Io hoped that it wasn't her that had put a damper on the other female's day. The woman introduced herself as Viridiana Sovari, and the albino's heart leapt at the familiar name. The sudden light in her face was probably visible to the other, but she didn't care - her lips lifted into a small smile. She had run into a member of her family - this woman was blood, and that had been why she came to Alacritia in the first place. "I am Io Sovari, I am glad the world has stopped being so vast, if only for a moment."
As for why she was here, she was now here because Vi was - she had quite easily taken her curiosity about this pack and made her wonder just why a member of her family was here. Had she been here long? How exactly were they related? "I was curious about the new leader, and perhaps looking to aide the new pack." She seemed to have a thing for lending a hand to those that seemed to need it. Perhaps this pack could use a healer? The feeling of being of some sort of use was foreign, but she had liked it in the brief moments she felt it in old Amenti. "You are a member here?"
She barely finished her question before she was in the presence of this pack's leader. He was a large male, dark, and smelled somewhat familiar, but it was so subtle that she could simply write it off and call it a coincidence. "She is family." The woman replied, not quite liking the look he gave her kin, and yet she would not back away or express any sort of anger. He introduced himself as Taurig, a King, and Io dipped her head in both respect and congratulations. "Curiosity." She answered honesty and simply, it was what had brought her here. "I don't know them, but there have been many leaders here - are you different?" It was not a jab at him, or the land that he had claimed, but she wanted to know what sort of group he planned to run.
He himself seemed polite, which was a pleasant change to the neutrality that she was used to. "I would like to know about your Tortuga." She didn't want a history lesson, the past was the past.
