What Family Is All About

Scylla had already been across the water on the mainland. Oops. The girl didn't exactly listen, as everyone knew. As her father messed about the old beaver home, the slate and snow girl picked about the area, deciding to stick close today. When her father eventually called for the rest of the pack, she was already there. She'd also been picking at the feast that he'd laid out for them. When reprimanded by her father, the girl scowled and slunk off towards the ferry. Albi should at least be awake by now.

Seeing her pale brother, Scylla came up alongside him, rubbing the length of her little body along his like a cat."Dad's no fun," she grumbled. "I'm never allowed to do anything." Allowed was the key term. She never had permission, but she did things anyway. Pawing her brother's foreleg, she motioned for him to follow her back to the group of wolves that had been forming around their father. "There's good food at least." If that was any consolation for being forced to mingle with everyone.
