Birna was glad that the woman would let her join. If they could bring one of these creatures down there would be plenty of meat to split between the two of them. The horned wolf introduced herself as Celeste. "Birna," she replied.
Birna watched the herd for a moment before before Celeste stated that she would let the cat take ethe lead. She cocked her head to the side but said nothing. She had never hunted creatures like this before and was not sure of the best approach to take, especially in such strange lands. Still, it did make sense. As a sprinter Birna would have a hard time catching up if Celeste were to spook the herd first where as the wolf's endurance would keep the canine on the heels of their prey. Birna nodded then crept forward, working her way through the tall grasses. The scent of pus caught her attention and she spied a young male on the outskirts of the herd. There was an infected wound on one of its hind legs. Picking her target she crept as close as she dared before taking a flying leap and landing on the burro's back. She then immediately had to hold on for dear life as the creature bucked wildly.
