Why Mess Up A Good Thing
Alastor

Over the last few days or maybe it had been longer than that, Relm had fallen back into old routines in an effort to avoid Alastor again. There was nothing to hint as to why, but of course she knew what was festering deep inside. She didn't want to bother him, but even more didn't want to consider her own emotions. It was easier just to divert and move around them, in turn not wanting to face Alastor again.
She had been walking the edge of the lake coming back from a patrol, moving in closer to the main areas of the island when she had looked up to see Alastor in the short distance. They had looked right at each other, maybe even eye contact and only frozen for a second or two before she pulled her head and gaze away from him awkwardly to turn and swerve away, heading out towards the forests and making her way around a longer path to get back to her den. She had made it to the mountain face and wasn't sure if he had followed her, come around another way, or went about his business. She had been so eager to make it around him and back that she hadn't noticed if he called out to her, or it was quite possible she was straight ignoring it. She'd make it all the way back into her den if she was able to.
