Athena tears into the tiger’s shoulder with her teeth, shifting her jaw and thrashing her head as she growls. She rips apart the skin and flesh causing the tiger to shift it attention to her as it tries to dislodge the painful culprit. Cerberus is already changing position and, as he grabs hold of the tiger’s muzzle, Athena lets go of her hold and springs off the cat’s back to land gracefully near Cerberus. Swiftly she whips around and slams her body weight into the tiger’s shoulder. She works to help Cerberus push the tiger down while biting at the leg that is attached to the shoulder, hoping to make the cat lift it and send the tiger careening to the ground.
