She has to hand it to the pup; his reaction time is impressive. Instead of standing there, dumbstruck as many wolves would, the pale pup rushes in, barreling into the surprised tiger’s chest. Whoa nelly. The cat stumbles and Athena releases her hold, jumping off the tiger’s back. Landing softly, the earthen wolf wheels around, white teeth flashing as she growls at the tiger. The cat is attempting to recover as Athena rushes toward it. While the pup has size and strength, the earthen wolf relies on her speed. Rushing in, she snaps her teeth around one of the tiger’s front paws, aiming to try keep the cat off balance. Before it has time to react, she is racing out of its striking zone, turning to reset her defense and prepare for the next round.
