Commonality

Scylla and Athena had just finished murdering a gharial that had attacked them in one of the pools along the riverside. The woman had asked after Scylla's talents and so the girl imagined that the next step would be introducing Athena to Kione. The wild dog had really allowed Scylla to embrace her bloody nature without judging her for it. He often took her out to hunt and kill things with him, which she greatly appreciated. If Athena wanted to learn, then wasn't Kione the one to teach her?

As the pair of ladies moved through the aspens, Scylla called out for her brother in name, hoping that he was nearby enough to hear her little howl. Though Scylla was almost a year old, she would forever be a dainty, diminutive lass. Her howl was equally small.

Casting her mismatched gaze towards Athena, Scylla grinned. "I think you'll really like Kione. He's really nice." The girls long tail swished in the grass. "He's gold too, just like you."
