Never Smile At A Crocodile

Scylla watched the woman as she cracked the crocodile with a sword. Wait... was that sword made out of wood? The girl inwardly groaned. "You should probably get a real sword," she commented with a slightly cynical expression on her face. How didn't an adult have a real sword? She was still a kid and had a real, live blade. They weren't exactly hard to get if you looked.

Shaking her head, Scylla turned her attention back to the crocodile. With her serpentine blade, she poked and prodded the reptile, urging it back towards the sea. It had other ideas, however. The thickly scaled creature spun towards the girl, mouth open, a heavy hiss emanating from it. The girl's eyes went wide and she danced backwards, collecting herself and planning her next attack.
