Never Smile At A Crocodile

As she watched, the woman stabbed the crocodile through the eye with her wooden blade. Scylla wrinkled her nose. "That was kind of gross." Eye fluid was a nasty thing. She knew from experience. As the croc swung its body about, the girl rushed forward and delivered a bunch of pinpricks to its thick tail with the tip of her blade. By now, the creature was bleeding from tons of different wounds. Being harried from both ends, it seemed as though the reptile had finally had enough. It kept its one good eye on the pair of wolves while sliding its big body back and into the waves of the ocean. It wouldn't be messing with wolves again any time soon.
