At the promise of a good fight, Jack really couldn't help herself. A brassy laugh cursed her chest, her throat. Everything about it was brilliant, and her strength was her own. Everything about her is splendid. The antihero took enough space from the group to make sure she didn't clip any allied force with her branch. It was time. By whatever chaos forces surrounded her, it was time.

There was a pale creature, a child for fuck's sake-- wait, a child? Sheeeeesh, they sent children to defend these packs? Was this even going to be fun? Ah what the hell, she'd be able to get some practice in with her stick, anyway. Shifting her weight over her back legs, Jack made to swing the stick broadly. Was it refined? No. Was she having a good fucking time? Hell yeah. Quick on her feet, swinging indiscriminately in the direction of her opponent, Jack was pleased with herself.
