As the tang of blood filled the air, Modesty grimaced. She certainly hadn’t meant to make the poor guy bleed… Maybe just bruise him up a little was all… She would certainly have to make a point of getting Gil to teach her how to fight at some point… Maybe.

More rude bites ran down her flank and something clamped around her ankle and pulled, she glanced back just in time to catch sight of her antlered Flemish friend ducking to try and poke his antlers into her opponents dog’s delicate underside.  She steadied herself on three legs just in case the dog didn’t let go and opened her own jaws to bite back at the red wolf’s right hip or maybe the base of his tail. Maybe a quick chomp and shake would give him a taste of his own medicine.
