Avacyn gave the blue-hued boy a curious glance when he said how he and Ricin had a difference of opinion, but he didn't elaborate nor did it seem like he wanted to. She was interested to hear what could have caused the tightly knit boys to have had a disagreement, but she wouldn't press him right away if he didn't feel like discussing it. She gave a little nod of understanding when he said how they didn't come to this sort of thing that often and she understood why that would be difficult for them. "Saracyn and have different opinions on things pretty often," she said with a soft chuckle, giving him a small, encouraging smile. "Siblings always come around though. Don't worry." She wasn't sure just how intense this falling out had been, but perhaps he'd be willing to let her in on it eventually.

Chade shifted the topic to something a bit more familiar and comfortable, mentioning how he was thinking of doing some hunting. She gave him a look of interest even though she was certainly not the hunter of the family. Saracyn firmly took that honor while she spent much more time on her crafting and fighting. She would still indulge Chade in a bit of hunting if he needed a partner for it though, but then he surprised her by telling her that it wasn't prey he was wanting to hunt, but something with big teeth. That made her much more interested and her brows lifted with surprise. She gave a wider grin and nodded to his question, replying, "Sure, I enjoy that."

She didn't have the particular fascination with killing the predators that her brother did, but she understood it was a common byproduct of fighting and injuring the other creatures. She supposed it was actually more merciful to kill them than allow them to continue suffering since she hardly ever just drove them off. There was always some kind of fatal wound involved in their fights. "I'll go with you to hunt one down if you'd like," she offered, wondering if maybe getting some fighting in would help him work out his emotions.
