Hattori followed the fisher's gaze to the water, to the gently sloshing waters Tojo had claimed as its own. Kuroo was right in his assumption, there was a lot of work to be done and yet Hattori trusted it would be handled in time. It was hard to say how large the clan would grow, it certainly wasn't for everyone but in the end that was the point. To be a home away from home, true to the old ways that were unattainable anywhere else within Auster or Boreas.

It felt as though Kuroo would flourish in his newly found position. That remaining by the water was where he ought to be, that his skills would serve Tojo best as he handled their stores and made sure everyone had enough fish to go around.

Hattori nodded, pleased.

"You are doing well. Keep it up." The Kaicho told him, blunt and honest, the furthest thing from a flowery compliment one could get. "Perhaps in time you could lead a whale hunt. It will take a lot of organisation, but it is possible." It wasn't exactly a common occurrence back in Nihon, but it was a custom Hattori wished to retain. To improve till it was something they could do annually.
