Where Lotus was, Ivy wasn't far behind. His brother had grown horns, making them easier to tell apart (listen, he doesn't recognize the clear height difference as valid, let him be in denial a few more seasons). Maybe he was a little jealous. Where were his cool horns, after all? Behind his brother, as soundlessly as possible, he stalked. Ivy would keep to the shadows, and he'd even kept in mind what Rasha had taught him-- he'd covered parts of himself in mud to hopefully keep his scent down. Lotus wouldn't catch him on the breeze, not today! In fact it was just when he was ready to ambush his brother, making up the distance from afar, that he saw the larger boy leap down from the outcropping.

What?

His head shot up, and Ivy wasn't hiding any longer. His bird-friend swooped down from her perch as well, choosing the top of his head-- he supposed that he really did need horns for her to perch on, damn. Ivy's brow furrowed for only a moment, having an easier time navigating the obstacles than the larger twin. Uncle Tyrian had come! Though Ivy doesn't bother with a pseudo-threatening growl, he did scramble to greet the Fireside king with more urgency than before. With a bit of sliding, some of the rocks giving way beneath his paws, the blue pup made to crash into both his brother and his uncle. No, he couldn't even pretend to be threatening in a moment like this, and instead Ivy laughed gleefully.
