.ooc. to the judge: I talked to Rina and she thought that 'haunches' meant shoulder so that is what I am going off of for that particular attack.
With raised hackles he would feel the force of their bodies colliding, Haku would take the brute end of the force, but already Ares could feel the discomfort in his muscles. He would not catch the ares he was seeking but instead take a giant mouthful of his opponents shoulder. He knew he would not cause much damage but he would do his best to use it as first intended. He would not feel the man fall back, but instead he could feel the flesh within his grasp pull away from the body. He would not have intended to cause so much damage, he just wanted to pull the other pale wolf from his paws. His eyes would narrow once more with felled ears as the other brute found his teeth into Ares' own shoulder. The teeth would serrate flesh for a moment before Haku found himself pushing into Ares pull.
With splayed toes the youth would halt his retreat, putting more weight into his front feet as he started to push back at the brute. Satisfied that the shoulder wound was already bad enough he would release the now bloodied area. Shoulders would coil as red stained jaws would remain open as he now aimed for Haku's vulnerable neck vertebrae. If his attack was a success he would not aim to kill his opponent, but he would do his best to inflict enough damage that he would release his own shoulder. His knees would remain bent as he struggled to maintain the force that was being pushed upon him, keeping both partners locked in the same place. His tail would extend and adjust to his movement as he used it for more preferable balance as his spine and neck did their best to stay aligned during the fight. His claws would dig into the ground to also aid in keeping him in place. He could feel the extreme pressure that they were putting onto their chests and he would fight to stay upright.
Ares vs. Haku

round two/four

Attacks: Pushing back into Haku as well as an attempted lunge for the back of his neck/head

Defenses: hackles raised, ears back, eyes narrowed, jaws agape, knees bent when necessary, toes splayed, weight placed on front paws, vertebrae aligned, shoulders rolled, claws thrusted into the earth

Injuries: a rather nasty gouging to his shoulder and probable bruising on his chest
