Stealing hearts and smashing carts, or something like that. Jack is doing her best out here, and it clearly doesn't go unnoticed. There's something unhinged about her, but it's something wonderful. This is the closest to wonderful that the antihero ever gets, after all. She feels alive. "Just the pretty ones," right, if fortune favors the bold then Jack would try her damndest to be as bold as possible. Bold, brassy, brilliant. So bold. Athena's long eyelashes, and she can feel her heart pick up in her chest. That was exactly what the pirate wanted, after all. She winked, her head tossing as she looked upon the woman before her. A small wager atop their larger one, she'd take it. "You're on babe," the words ring from her chest, the grin on her face moving clear to her gaze. Yes, this was far too much fun for Jack. The pirate life really was for her. Hell, even if they didn't come away from this raid victorious, Jack would have stolen at least one thing from Fenmyre. Her stick connects, and she's wrapped up in the heat of the fight itself. Her shoulders roll, neck arching, and Jack feels brilliant. Still, she realizes that it's time. Now is the time to set the stick down, opting to fight Athena in close quarters. The very idea of it was more enticing than she cared to admit. "Mmm, nothing safe about me princess." A grin, a wink. It's enough time, enough space for the smaller woman to grab her by the shoulder, but Jack remains steady on her feet, muscles flexing. As stable as she possibly can, and attempting to scaffold herself against the pressure. If Jack had any luck to spare, she could hope to end up on top. With her neck arching, the antihero makes to throw her neck over Athena's, teeth glinting in the sunlight. If they landed, well maybe those teeth wouldn't quite intend to harm. All's fair in love and war, after all. "Promise I'll kiss it better, later." The words are whispered with smirk, as she's in close quarters with the Fenmyre girl. Jack can't help herself. |
