Dalila's teeth found purchase on the man's chest as he pivoted to face her and her fangs tore lacerations into the skin there, but while she was doing that he bent his head down to bite at the top of her head. She ducked her head down to miss the worst of it, his teeth instead clashing against the crystal growths that poked up around the perimeter of her crown and just scraping the top of her head. Dalila threw her head back in an attempt to catch his jaw on the upswing before he could pull back again, hoping to knock him with the top of her head and cut into the lower portion of his jaw with the crystal spikes. Meanwhile the man's raven deflected her male mastiff, but her female mastiff came to his rescue, jumping into the air to knock the bird away and snap at one of its wings.
