Raining More Than Ever

Aliana didn't live under the pretense that she knew what Reila had endured, just as Ali didn't expect her to know what she had. They had a mutual start to life it seemed, yet every slaver was wholly different, and life as merchandise varied from seller to seller. But in an interest of trying to avoid bringing up traumatic memories both in Reila and in herself, she simply never addressed that aspect of their histories. She instead focused on the here and now, and on the future in the forms of six wiggly, energetic boys. Reila answered her question of frequency of the nightmares, but offered little else in the way of information. Hmm, looks like she'd have to do most of the probing. The tawny woman seemed like she was here under duress and out of obligation, so extracting any information from her would be akin to pulling teeth.
Reila asked how much Chimera had told her, and Ali answered honestly. "He hasn't told me anything about you having nightmares." Chimera was a man of few words. He gave commands and he let his will be known, but he wasn't one for small talk or chatter he found unnecessary. But Reila had made an interesting statement about being open to anything, so that gave her an opening she could use if the newest member of Fenmyre truly wanted help. "Should he have told me something?" asked Ali with a slight tilt of curiosity to her head. Already she was mentally making a decoction that would help with the night terrors, but if Reila had pertinent information for her, then she was all ears, especially if it was about all the time the fae seemed to be spending with Fenmyre's king.

As her mate, Chimera may enter any thread Aliana is in.
