As black smoke engulfs the sky RAID

Halo had managed to landa bite on the girl, her teeth in Carnage's shoulder. She couldn't help but feel guilty-- who would hit a yearling? Still, Halo would bite back the emotion. She'd push down the guilt... though it might be worth talking to Sirius about it, later. Much later. But would he regret having taken her raiding in the first place? Regardless of the outcome, this would be Halo's last spar for this raid, as far as she understood. Heck, even if she'd misunderstood, it seemed like the wounded were starting to limp away, and the tenderhearted healer wanted nothing more than to tend to them. That was where her talents would be better applied, probably. Focus, right, she needed to focus.

The tenderhearted healer pressed on. Carnage made to grab Halo about the neck, at which point the pale girl attempted to wrench free. A growl, one that startled even herself, built up in her throat and broke loose. She would do her best to pull free, teeth gnashing, attempting to bite at the yearling's forelegs and the points of her shoulders. The yearling was already taller, Halo had to be quicker, and she'd use her teeth. Halo would use her teeth as best she could. Goodness, she could hope, right?
