As black smoke engulfs the sky RAID

The connections of their shoulders sent a shock through his body. Bracing his back paws so he wouldn't slide back too far, Ghoul flashed a daring smile at the larger male. His and Macabre's attack had worked as planned. It was nice not having the sort of connection he had with his brother. They could work in unison and one would wonder how they did it. As he listened to the shuffle of paws around him, Ghoul watched as their opponent twisted around so they were side by side. Being in such close quarters was difficult, to say the least, but he would make it work.

Feeling the wrap of a strong forepaw around his front leg, Ghoul leaned into it as the larger male went to bite at his scruff. A searing pang of pain rippled across his shoulder blades as teeth pierced his skin. One might call him reckless, but it would give Mac an opening. Shifting his weight so that he leaned farther into Grimshaw, he let the larger male take hold of him. Reaching his own face around, he aimed to latch on to the shadowed man's chest. If he could entangle himself enough with the dire, it would leave Mac plenty of space to attack somewhere else.
