The other wolf attacks when Kichi had to back off. Kichi took a moment to shake himself, a bit of blood landing on the ground. Was it his or the tigers? Did it even matter? Not really. Kichi ran in as the other wolf attacked, slamming himself into the tiger’s front shoulder even as Tove was biting a back leg to knock the cat off balance. As they collided Kichi’s fangs found their way into the tiger’s neck.

The tiger was surely more muscular than Kichi but it was also more injured and had a damaged leg. Kichi used his grip on the cat’s neck and shoved farther into the shoulder as he tried to push the cat down. Unfortunately, the claws were coming toward him again and Kichi was forced to let go. Spinning his head he bit into the tiger’s paw in repayment as it tried to harm him again. There were limits to how many times the tiger got to cut him open.
