Was it comforting to see Alastor relate their differences maybe among the pack or just anyone in general? It wasn’t surprising at least, Relm would already feel their connection of likeminded and tortured souls. She relaxed a little more into him as he made her more comfortable before she explained. But still her gaze had wandered down at their intertwined bodies while she gave him light of who Kefka really was. She would never know the regret her father felt as he raped her, she was completely closed off when it happened. But she did understand why he had distanced himself from her. A part of her did pity and feel bad for Kefka, she really didn’t hold as much hate for him as she did fear. And recognition and thanks for Alastor is what ended up filling all those gaps between. What Kefka did to her his final day was not forgotten, but it didn’t define who she was today. Her focus had been driven to right now, not the past and not the future. Just right here with Alastor.

Relm didn’t pull her gaze up to meet Alastor again until he spoke, finding that he was in a similar mindset as he too didn’t look back at her. Relm very simply didn’t have others to open up to like this. And she did feel like the nature of her birth, her conception, the entire circle around her father were not things to just talk about. She wasn’t really ashamed, not when she told Alastor. But there were times when she was haunted by Agria that she believed she should be dead. Agria had wanted to kill her before her birth, and after. And sometimes she thought it was just meant to be that way. She saw first hand what being raped by her son and being forced to give birth did to her. Watching Agria bleed out was the farthest her memory would go back, and she couldn’t say she never thought about it again.

As Relm had before, she was silent as Alastor told her about himself. She was understanding just as he was to her. There was no judgment, about his own start of life and the trials he faced. And the way he smiled at the thought of his dead father. Relm couldn’t hold any hard feelings against him, it was his life. But even then, every horrible thing he may have done didn’t lessen the way she saw him. Even if she didn’t say so. Justified or not, she’d still be here.

Her eyes had flicked a couple times between them and back at his face while he spoke, but her gaze was right there when he finally finished and was ready to look back up at her. She took a few seconds as she looked over his abyssal eyes. Her expressions were near blank, but her eyes told him how much she felt for him. She didn’t pity, she didn’t hate, she just cared for him and who he was, who he was with her. Nothing else mattered. "Alastor..." she spoke his name through an exhale, and in just enough time to close her eyes she was pushing her maw forwards towards his. It may have seemed obvious how much difficult this was for her even though their time just moments before was like nature to her. She would only wait a few seconds before separating their lips, maybe a little insecure as her eyes stayed lightly shut. Somehow the urge just felt right, even if she felt like she wasn’t doing it right or maybe even embarrassed herself in such a deep moment between them. As much as it felt like the right thing she wanted to do, it felt so wrong to her. Maybe it was just her own insecurities at the forefront of her mind.
