My future rug is attacking me

He'd seen the mountains from the ship days before and the interested him, so since he had nothing better to do went off to explore. It had been nice staying with that band for some time and he owed them a good hunt when he fully recovered, or some kind of thanks, but for now he set off with the promise of repayment. He wasn't the kind to go back on his word, even if it took him some time to live up to it.
The dangerous nature of the Maw was exciting, a thrill even. With each step little stones and pebbles would slide off the edge and tumble down below. He wondered how tall the mountain got and sought to stand at the peak, however a sudden roar and sounds of a skirmish caught his attention. Being nosy, he followed the sound and looked down the edge. Positioned above the polar bear, he watched as it swatted at the blue wolf and sent them crashing into the ground.
As if he forgot about all his own stitched wounds, he leapt off the cliff and onto the bears back. Limbs gripped tightly to the bear as fangs sunk into the massive animals neck. The ursine would shake then, trying to rid the wolf from its back with the looser skin Sverre was able to keep his hold, though almost slid off the side once or twice. The bear roared in frustration as it began to stand back on it's hind legs in a second attempt to rid the wolf hanging from it's back.
