What's Happening?

Two-toned blue gaze would alight on his sister when she emerged from her den, and Galileo would stir from his silent vigil for the first time all night, a slight twitch of his ear the only movement that he made for the time being. For a long moment, he would remain still, tracking Avalon's form as she padded towards the cool autumn waters. Only when she settled down by the water, all awkward limbs, did Galileo rise to his paws, a gusty breath escaping his lungs as he began his approach. "Avalon," Galileo would raise his voice so that it would reach her ears. He drew even with her easily, and settled back on his haunches without another word, letting his rump come to rest against the sand before he turned his gaze on her. "How have you been?" It had been a while since they had talked like this; since before Orica left, if he recalled correctly. He missed Orica; it was like her absence left an aching hole in his chest, and nothing could fill it. Of course, his siblings, younger and older helped. He would protect them all from the evils of the world. At the thought, Galileo pinned his ears back for a moment, and it took him a long moment to relax again. He forced the tension from his muscles, and the male stretched slowly, trying to seem unconcerned as he gazed at his sister, searching for any injuries on her form. Thought Speech Others |
