Jams And Jelly Season

Syanna wasn't far behind Fern as the other girl headed into the Wildberry Grove to begin gathering some sweet spring berries for the wedding desserts. The vixen-esque wolf carried a basket of her own in her jaws as well, a little prance in her step while she enjoyed the warm Austerian spring day and bright sunlight. The date for the Carpathius-Fatalis wedding was drawing closer and closer, soon to be upon them. Syanna had never experienced any sort of major events or celebrations before, save for the Feast of Unity the Hallows had put on during the Boreal winter, but she was excited to be a part of it and get a chance to help celebrate her alphas' love and union. While Fern began gathering berries for her own purposes, Syanna started to look for some ripe strawberries that they could use in desserts as well as to flavor some of the fermenting wines, aiming to make a few batches of sweet sangria for the summer event.

While she scoured the grove of thousands of berries, Audra appeared and asked if they needed help. Syanna regarded the other small lady with a smile and wag of her tail. "Sure! The more, the merrier! Fern's looking for fruits for jams, and I'm looking for strawberries for the wine." With that, cyan returned to her foraging, passing by the raspberry bushes Fern and Audra were at and moving through a thicket of blackberries and currants. A short ways off, she found a plethora of short strawberry bushes, all teeming with bright red fruits. She gasped in delight and hurried to begin picking, dainty cream paws working in a blur to begin filling up her basket with as many of the berries as she could. She didn't know how many they'd need for the wines, but she imagined it would be a hell of a lot!
