The Warlord had begun spending time at the battlefield again. Refreshing the skills he had been born with. Letting practice remind his body of the skills he had honed over a lifetime. It seemed a long time since he had battled the wolves of his pack with regularity. He had just stepped into the field. Letting the chilled earth move about his heavy-set paws when he heard the sound of a howl.

A summoning, the herald of a battle. The Warlord smiled at his good luck, and made his way in the direction of the caller. He stopped before the smaller wolf. Taking in her red-brown coat and piercing blue eyes. She held herself like it wasn’t her first rodeo. He dipped his head in acknowledgment. “Greetings.” He said softly as he set his stance before her. Finding little use for lengthy speech when fights could be had. He spread his weight, tipping himself backwards slightly on the balls of his feet “Your move.” He said, inviting her to attack him.
