Blood In The Water

Keahi waits in the area of blood and battles, awaiting for a worthy opponent to answer her call. It isn’t long before big brute appears to answer her summons and she offers him a dip of her head in return to his greeting. He sets himself, offering her the first attack and she doesn’t waste the opportunity. As he had been settling into his stance, Keahi had taken deep breath and held it.

With the chance to attack is given over to her, she slowly expels the held air while pushing her tensed and coiled muscles forward. She is a river, one smooth motion carefully flowing into the next. The distance is short but Keahi charges for all she is worth, relying on her speed against the male’s taller stature.

She charges him straight on with her ears pinned, scruff bunched, eyes narrowed and lips pulled back. If this is place to prove herself, then Keahi will leave nothing out. Her charge shifts, angling the woman toward the male’s right side at the last possible moment. Teeth seek purchase on the male’s right foreleg, aiming to leave him a small reminder of this fight. When he attacks, she expects him to do the same. After all, what is a warrior without scars?
