Blood In The Water

Keahi grabs the giant male’s foreleg as he moves to bring his leg toward her. A smile grows as she feels her teeth break flesh and she stops to plant her paws. He might have size on his side but the shorter wolf has tenacity. She feels him grab ahold of the back of head, right behind her ears and a growl instinctively bubbles out. As he grabs her, Keahi shifts her own weight to her hind paws and releases her grip on his foreleg. In one fluid motion she moves to try and hook one of her legs around the she has just attacked and pull it out from under the male. As she pulls at the limb, Keahi releases the energy she has built up in back legs to give her a short, jolt of speed right into the male’s shoulder. She aims to slam her head into him for two reasons; one, to get him to release his own hold and two, to unbalance the taller male and win the fight.
