Usagi’s assumptions were right - Hattori was intending on crafting something. Something huge. He nodded in acknowledgement at the mention of a pitfall - a pit for trapping some poor beasts. He was surprised he hadn’t built one with Kuroo before, when the brothers were still wandering the lands. They had built something of a tripwire, but that wasn’t exactly the same thing. As his Kaicho showed him, with the bamboo as reference as to how big each stalk should be cut to. "It’s doable," He replied simply in agreement. Neither he nor Hanzō were particularly talkative, and that suited him just fine. No useless wording or banter. Just business.
He was quick to take the other side of the curved saw, sawing with Hattori’s momentum to slice a clean line theough the stalk.
