Blood In The Water

Keahi speaks and the tall Warlord listens. She asks for a home without actually asking coming out and asking for one. Sirius had said that fighting is in his blood and the red wolf understands the sentiment. Back on her island, families handed down their skills to the younger generations and, since the time she could waddle, Keahi had learned what becoming a fighter truly meant. She had learned that it had been more than just practicing moves over and over again, it also meant coming to terms with herself and finding out exactly why she would fight. Since she had always been slow to anger, the red wolf had quickly found she fights for others.

Sirius speaks of the Armada always needing fighters and the red wolf inclines her head in understanding and offers him a smile as he speaks of respect. When he extends an invitation check out the Armand, Keahi gives a firm nod and says, “I would appreciate that, Sirius, Warlord of the Armada. I am at your disposal.” Another bow of respect and she stands in preparation to follow Sirius wherever he may lead her.
