Noir

Always having someone beside him was much different from the way he usually lived his life. There was Summer and there was loneliness. The raven was much darker these days than her name implied, mostly going feral as she voicelessly served her master. She was no comparison to having a she wolf beside him. Duchess gave him the attention that he craved, and she was given his own in return. There weren’t many nights he spent without her now.
Little did she know Noir did not make it very far in any direction without her. Life was just… better when he had the little mottled purple woman at his side. He didn’t find himself seeking out more attention, negative or positive, when he had Duch. Knowing he could do whatever he wished, to her detriment or gain, whenever and however he wanted made the man feel powerful in ways he hadn’t ever known before. The way she clung to him and held him tight no matter what he gave her.
Duchess was becoming a permanent facet in his life, his own jewel to behold. Noir didn’t want to ever let her go. So he didn’t think he would. Massive paws carried him back to camp after a quick patrol. He hadn’t made enemies recently but it was always better to watch his back. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary so he returned to Duch’s side. With a dark grin Noir strolled up beside her and made himself comfortable next to her by the fire. Making sure their sides were touching as he watched the fire lick the cooking flesh before him. She was turning into a fine little housewife too. ”You’ve been busy today.” He commented with a deep rumbling from his chest as he tilted his head to catch her out of the corner of his eye. All the while a sly grin played over his sharp teeth.
