Along The Lines

Reila asked Chimera out with her not for any logical reason, very simply to keep time with him as much as she felt she could or at least enough not to be so weird. It was no secret between the two of them about liking each other's company even if it was just the travel and the work. They liked being around each other.

She took him out to the cathedral very simply because she wanted her own supplies to make her own wine. She felt bad every time she took a bottle of hallowed wine from the stores regardless of how often or how little everyone else used them. She was quite the drinker herself if only a little to feel relaxed and buzzed. Sometimes more. Chimera should have noticed at least. Luckily she wasn't so belligerent.

She wandered the cathedral, stretching her slender body up on the vines to reach the grapes overhead and taking tastes of the different colors or ripeness. She'd probably take a couple different ones to try. Then adding some of the sugar crystals they had found behind the falls would give her some inspiration too.
