Saracyn did not enjoy mixing and mingling with strangers, nor did he enjoy being in another's home with decorum and rules expected of him. He much preferred being back in his home, where he was lord of the island. Here, he felt so... undignified. Still, there had been promise of free food and a fighting tournament, so there were at least two things the Mendacium prince was interested in.

He arrived with his parents and sister not long after the reception had started. While Manea and Alastor shared their pleasantries and well wished to the alpha couple of the Hallows, Saracyn merely dipped his head and mumbled a simple, "Congratulations, Lord and Lady Carpathius," then slunk off to grab a bite to eat and wait for the fighting to start. He was eager to sink his fangs into a struggling opponent.
