Avacyn was lingering in the den, getting some much needed rest now that the festival was over and working on some of her projects that had fallen to the wayside while she was so caught up in planning and preparing. It was a cold, snowy day anyway so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get caught up on things here. At some point Saracyn came into her workshop to join her and she was happy to have his company while she worked, even having him get the taxidermy pieces that Scylla had given them for her so she could set them up in her workshop and study the stitches so she could try replicating them on pieces of leather. She was just going to have to talk to Scylla though and get some tips from her because it was turning out to be much harder than she had originally imagined, which really only made her more impressed with he Klein wolf's work.

At some point while she was leaning into Saracyn's side to stay warm and working on her stitching, she heard the sound of snow crunching and moving around just outside the cave. It made her ears perk and she paused, listening for a few moments before she glanced at Sara with a curious look. If someone was coming into the den then the crunching would have stopped by now, but who was just moving around in the snow outside the den? Curious to see what was going on, she got up and walked out of her workshop, peeking around the corner to look toward the cave entrance and spotted their little sister playing in the snow, her vibrant coloring standing out in stark contrast against the white background. Avacyn grinned and chuckled softly as she watched little Fia work, trying to piece together what she was making and not quite figuring it out.

She knew Saracyn had his own opinions about their newest sibling, but Avacyn was excited to have a little puppy around the cave. She was adorable and of course a special part of the Mendacium family, just as her mother had promised she would be. She gave Saracyn a glance and nodded for him to come with her as she went out into the snow where Fia was playing, careful not to step on anything she had created or disturb her work. "What're you up to, Fia? Can I help?" she asked, with a smile, get tail wagging gently as she started to scoop up some of the falling snow into a pile for her. The snow was still falling pretty steadily so there was more than enough material to work with to give their little sister all the the creative freedom her heart desired.

Her and Saracyn very much had an interest in fighting in common and she was of course always more than happy to go picking fights with predators or sparring with her twin, but Saracyn did not have the interest in crafting the way she did—nor did she have the love of hunting that he did. Their interests differed so they were more limited in the activities that they wanted to do together, although Saracyn would still sit with her while she worked and she would accompany him on hunts if he wished. Seeing Fia playing and building with the snow gave Avacyn a little hope that maybe her little sister would join her in her crafting endeavors so she would have someone to obsess over small details of things with. Even if Fia did not love the creation and building of things from nothing the way she did, maybe her new sister would at least help her come up with new ideas or help her work through problems she had in her projects. If nothing else she could hope and she was getting more excited to have a new sibling all the time.
