The response the queen offered to Devya was more than pleasing to Seraphim. He only hoped it would please his daughter as well. He glanced briefly to Devya to gauge her reaction before turning back to Newt. I would be glad to be your Beta, Newt, he said with a slight bow. It would be an honor. His words rang true. He was hopeful that the pack would truly be brought back to glory, and perhaps by that time he would be prepared to lead in the place of the queen.



I really should go find us some dinner, but I want to thank you again. If you have need of me at any time, just call. He smiled again at the female as he rose and turned on his way back to the rock garden, waiting only for Devya to come to his side.
