She would look up at him again.
"I do not mind" she replied to him quietly, so not to scare the fish away. He could do what he liked; she was not exactly in a position to order him around "but thank you, for the offer. I can catch my own." She moved as quietly as she spoke, holding her paw above the water and watching intently. The silvery fish below lit up the water with movement and colour.
Edelweiss lashed out, hooking a fish and bringing it to the surface. Her neck leaned forward to snap its throat, making sure it was dead before beginning to eat. The girl fell silent as she quickly - though elegantly - ate her fill. She took small bites of the fish meat before pushing it to the side, her interest in the older wolf. She could almost feel his words unspoken. Her gaze dropped to his little friend, giving a slight turn up of her lips.
A little smile.
