Breaking and Entering

After their encounter with the large cat down on the rocky plains, Saracyn was more hyped than ever to continue his day outing with his twin sister. Nothing got him quite hyped up like a good fight, especially when he got to share it with Avacyn! The older they got, the more the young Mendacium prince valued his relationship with his sister. It was no secret that he didn't have many friends amongst Elysium, but he didn't care. He didn't need any when he had Ava by his side. That fact was proven by how thoroughly they trounced that overgrown feline. Together, the Mendacium twins were an unstoppable force to be reckoned with!

Heading west from the Stone Steppe, Saracyn began to lead Avacyn up the rocky paths of the snowy mountain range, up and away from the lands of Boreas down below. He'd only been through here once before, but he had heard of a pathway through the mountains that would let them cut through to the other side rather than navigating all the way around, and if there was one thing Sara loved, it was a good shortcut that cut down on the work. Walking up against the blistering wind side by side with his sister, Sara leaned gently in towards her to bump her side with his shoulder, shooting her a happy grin when he had her attention.

"It's not much farther! Just a little bit more up this path," he said to her, following the winding trail as it ran up along the sloping sides of the mountains, his massive paws crunching through the snowdrifts with ease. Rounding a corner on the path, Saracyn's eyes lit up when he saw the gap in the rocky crags just up ahead. "There it is!" He pushed forward, trying to break down some of the snow in their way to make the progressing a bit easier for his sister. As they reached the split in the mountain, Saracyn bounded ahead—only to yelp and recoil backwards as a bellowing kodiak bear rose up from behind a boulder, blocking the wolves from advancing through. Sara regained his composure and jolted into his fighting stance, eyes narrowed and serrated fangs bared as he squared off with the bear, waiting for Ava to join him and intimidate their big fat blockade.
