Breaking and Entering

Avacyn followed her twin up into the mountains, happy to follow where ever he led. She hadn't had a real plan for their day out among the northern lands of Boreas, but after the fight they had at the steppe with the big cat she was happy to continue rolling with the high she always had after a successful fight. That feeling was only made all the better being with her brother through it all. When he nudged her and she turned her obsidian gaze toward him, she returned his grin and nodded as he mentioned the path they were looking for should be just up ahead. She kept her eyes peeled for it until finally Saracyn spotted it, calling out his find and rushing ahead to get to the break in the icy mountains.

She hurried forward to follow after him into their short cut, only to be cut short by the roar of a Kodiak bear that appeared in front of them, clearly not too pleased with having its home invaded by two wolves. Saracyn of course immediately dropped into a fighting stance as she had expected him to and she came up along side him in a similar stance, snarling and growling at their newest foe with him. The bear didn't seem all that intimidated, but it did stop its forward advance at least. Noticing a gap in the path, she took the opportunity and bolted forward, knowing she would be smaller and faster than her brother. She slipped by the bear, narrowly missing its claws, and got it to stumble as it hastily tried to turn around to catch her. She spun around to face it again with a grin, knowing that it had made a terrible mistake letting her twin get behind it.
